Allison is a Councillor for Mandale & Victoria Wards in Thornaby. She has been a councillor for 3 years now and was elected onto the Board in May 2003. She is married to Mick and they have 3 sons aged 23, 19 and 7 years and 2 granddaughters. She also works at Asda in Thornaby as a Trading Standards Clerk.
Allison has always had some form of involvement in voluntary work over the years and this is what led her to becoming an SBC Councillor. She finds her role on the Board challenging and rewarding "The Board has come a long way over the last year and being on the Board is a real pleasure for me." She hopes to stay on the Board for many more years and to see the Company grow into a 3 star ALMO all of which can be achieved if we all continue to work together in the future.
