Before retiring Bill worked as a buyer at ICI in Billingham. When he has free time he enjoys walking, visiting the theatre, travelling and has a passion for quizzes. He has lived in Fairfield for most of his life and has been the Ward Councillor for Fairfield (previously known as Bishopsgarth) for a number of years. He joined the Board when it was formed.
He is currently the Chair of the Corporate Policy Scrutiny Committee, a member of the Licensing Committee, the Housing & Community Safety Committee and a member of the Environment and Regeneration Committee. He is a Member of the Cleveland Fire Authority, the National Association of Clean Air, the Tees Community Forest and serves as a governor at a local school.
Bill sits on the Company's HR Committee, Housing Management Committee and Audit Committee
