Jackie was born in Middlesbrough. She joined the army when she was 17 and travelled all over the world. She came to live in Thornaby in 1977 where she met her husband, Alan.
They have one daughter, Julie-Ann, who is 14 years old. They have fostered children in the past which was hard work but very rewarding. Jackie enjoys days out with her family and her Yorkshire terrier, Cassie.
Jackie sits on several of the Company's Committees; Finance and Performance, Human Resources and Housing Management.
