John is a Chartered Engineer who worked for nearly 30 years with WS Atkins Consultants Ltd. He became their Managing Director in 1991. He resigned in 2000 to pursue his interests as an independent consultant specialising in corporate change and business management.
He joined the Company's Board when the Company was formed in 2002 and was elected Chairman in 2005. John's main hobbies include golf, his classic cars and supervising the gardening! He lives in Middleton-Upon Leven with his wife Janet and two of his four children.
John is Chair of the Technical Services Committee, Chair of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee and he also sits on the Joint Consultation Group.
