Board Members Profile: Tina Large, Councillor Director

Councillor Large is a single parent, she has a 18 year old son Shaun who has just left college and of whom she is very proud. She has a long time partner Dave, who has been her rock, especially since Shaun's dad died suddenly in April 2000. He has supported her for the past 8 years and has encouraged her throughout. She has been involved in voluntary work since 1999 and has found it very rewarding.

She has been on Thornaby Town Council for the past 4 years and as well as being elected as a Ward Councillor this year, has also took on the role of Thornaby Mayor (Chair of the Council ) She is on the Planning Commitee, Licensing and the EAP Board. She looks forward to working on the Tristar Board and hopes to find it very rewarding as she puts all her effort in everything she does.

Councillor Large sits on the Company's Finance and Performance Committee and Housing Management Committee.
