We have a variety of ways you can be involved in helping us provide better services to you. You can come and meet with us at Tristar, you can go to a roadshow, you can do some mystery shopping or you can stay at home and contact us over the web, or by phone or text, plus lots more - the choice is yours! If you want to volunteer to help Tristar with any of these things then please download and complete our ways to make a difference form and send it back to us at Tristar House - click here for our full address.  Or, if you would like more information about the various ways you can help please contact us on 01642 527777 or email resident.involvement@tristarhomes.co.uk

Customer groups

We currently have 4 working customer groups at Tristar these are:

  • The Customer Liaison Group - this group meets on the third Wednesday of each month. We discuss Tristar's performance across a range of services and try to find ways to improve them.
  • The Technical Services Group meets on the third Thursday of every month, once a quarter we meet in the evening. We discuss repairs and maintenance, Decent Standard Works and gas services here.
  • The 'money matters' group. Here we look at rents, debt collection and managing your money.
  • The empty homes and waiting lists group. Here people meet to look at how we can improve performance on empty homes and explain things like the 'housing register' (waiting list)

We are looking to form a group to discuss Tristar's approach to dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour, if you want to help us with this please click here and let us know your thoughts and contact details.

Mystery Shoppers and Tenant Inspectors

These are people who help us to do 'reality checks' on our services by ringing us up, visiting housing offices or looking at empty homes and decent standards work. People who help us with this do this type of 'mystery shopping' about 4 times a year. If you want to help us with any of these things click here and email us your contact details.

Residents Groups or Panels

Stockton Borough already has many residents groups. These groups of people work hard in their local area to improve things for themselves and their neighbours. We are currently working with various resident groups across the Borough - please click here for residents groups that may be in your area...

If you would like to set up a residents group in your area we can help you do this so please contact us (click here to view our contact details). Stockton Borough also has another organisation that can help you set up a residents group, it is called SCRGA which stands for Stockton Residents & Community Groups Association - click here for a link to SRCGA's website.

Have your say!

In order to improve the services we provide  we need to listen to your thoughts and views and act on them. You can help us to do this by:

  • Completing and returning any surveys we send to you
  • Going along to local fun days, roadshows and other community based events to meet Tristar staff, give them your views and maybe even have a bit of fun too!
  • Giving us your comments, compliments and complaints - we take all of these seriously and use them to help make services better. To make a comment, compliment or complaint click here
