What is the Reaching Out Area Panels (ROAP)

The panel is a way that our customers can be involved to influence the services we provide in the areas where they live

Who will attend?

Customers will be asked to represent their Patch, street, or block and will be known as "Patch Champions" or "Street Champions". The panel can also include representatives from young peoples groups, older persons groups, representatives from special needs groups, and residents and community groups

How often will they meet, where, and when?

The meetings will be held quarterly at a time suitable to customers attending the panel at local venues such as community centres

Who will facilitate the ROAPs?

Neighbourhood Managers and Team Leaders will facillitate the ROAP's initially, but it is hoped that in time customers will Chair the meetings following training and support provided by Tristar.

What will the panel do?

• Examine local issues and identify an action plan to improve the quality of life for people who live within your neighbourhoods.
• Make recommendations to the Tristar Homes Board via the operations Committee to improve services
• Feed residents views into decision-making
• Feedback decisions made at Tristar Homes to customers
