What you can expect from us

Our commitment to you

We will:

  • Commence investigations in an effective, sensitive and consistent way, this may include a visit to your home, offer you an interview at one of our service points, arranging a meeting with other partners, or making a referral to another agency.

In the following timescales:

  • Issues that have a direct bearing on the immediate well being of people, one working day
  • Issues relating to our properties, three working days
  • Issues relating to activities affecting the wider environment, seven working days

We will:

  • Agree with you in advance as to how often you wish to be updated. We will update you weekly if this suits your needs.
  • Write and tell you the name of the officer dealing with your case if referred to Stockton Borough Council's Anti Social Behaviour Team.
  • Respect your request for confidentiality and we will not reveal your identity without prior consent and we have an agreement to do so. All complaints are treated in confidence.
  • Explain how to complete diary sheets/incident logs if needed in a leaflet or face to face.
  • Take the lead and work with other agencies to deal with problems
  • Tell you what support we and other agencies can give you.
  • We will try and use the evidence from other people such as patch managers or community wardens, we also understand you may not want to give evidence in court.

Service Promises

The Board of Tristar Homes Ltd has endorsed service promises to residents who report Anti-Social Behaviour. The promises clearly provide a minimum level of services customers can expect to receive from us. We will review these Service Promises annually and we will involve service users in this process.

Policy & Procedure

We have produced a statement of our joint policy with Stockton Borough Council. If you would like to download the Policy document, please click here.

A copy of the full procedure is also available from any Tristar service point. We have also produced a summary of our policy and procedure. To view the Summary of our Anti Social Behaviour Procedure, please click here.
