What we will do to help you

If you do want help, these are some of the options that could be offered to support you:

  • Referral to victim support
  • Support from your local Housing Office and our specialist teams
  • Support from the local Race Equality Council
  • Additional security measures to your home
  • Installation of attack alarm
  • Additional personal security measures
  • Provision of alternative accommodation and a supported move in urgent cases

If you are a victim of racial harassment or hate crimes report it to us immediately.

What Action will we take?

We will take action to resolve your concerns using one or a combination of :

  • Mediation
  • Interviewing and warning the person causing the problem
  • Issuing legal proceedings that could include injunctions, ASBO's, possession orders
  • Referrals to our partner agencies
