Blue Hall Residents Association
The Blue Hall Residents Association met for the first time on 24th January 2008 at Norton Methodist Church.
James Hadman from Stockton Residents and Community Groups Association explained to the group the benefits of having an independent residents group on the estate with regards to raising issues in the area and applying for funding for different types of activities for young and old.
The Recreational Ground was discussed with a view to improving the area in order that it could be used as a community green space once again. The Group would need to work closely with Stockton Borough Council on this.
The residents who attended became quite involved in raising issues concerning the area in which they live, some of which we are now looking into.
The next meeting is to be held on 19th February 2008, in the meeting room to the rear of Norton Methodist Church.
The local Police Officers will be invited along with Stockton Borough Councils Enforcement Team to answer any questions.
Please come along as your ideas and opinions are needed to help move the group forward as we are at a very early stage. The meetings are very informal and we need as many residents to attend as possible!
