If when you receive a custodial sentence, you are living alone and are the sole tenant of a Council property, if you terminate your tenancy we will ensure that on your release, a property of a similar type and demand will be given to you. However, you must make this request at the time when you terminate your tenancy and you must also be eligible to be registered on the Housing Register.
