Apart from services to leaseholders, repairs, and improvement works, Tristar Homes Limited delivers most of its services from our Neighbourhood Housing Offices.

The type of service offered at each Housing Office varies.  For example, you cannot pay your rent at every office and some have restricted opening hours.

At each office there is also a freephone service which allows customers to ring other parts of Tristar Homes, the Repairs Contact Centre for example. You can also contact some of Stockton Council services using this freephone service.

If you need any help with your tenancy, property or garage you should contact your local Neighbourhood Housing Offices. The type of services provided include:

  • Help with Housing Benefit/Council Tax Benefit applications, e.g. photocopying documents
  • Payment of rent and other council bills (some offices only)
  • The Council's Concessionary Garden Scheme for the elderly and disabled
  • Advice on ending your tenancy
  • Transfers and Mutual Exchanges (house swaps)
  • Changing the names on tenancy
  • Advice on what to do if one of the tenants of a property dies
  • Repairing and reletting empty properties
  • Helping with problems with your neighbours and anti-social behaviour
  • Renting Council Garages and Garage Sites
  • Dealing with garden boundary disputes
  • Problems with the estate environment
  • Problems with the cleanliness of the communal areas of flats

We have also introduced a Customer Support Service which is a new service for tenants within the Rent Collection Service enabling customers to receive information about their rent accounts in the most appropriate format and languages to meet their needs.
