Garden Service

Our new in -house gardening service has received numerous commendations from customers who feel the service provided represents an excellent improvement and value for money.

We currently have 475 customers receiving the service and we will shortly be delivering composting bins to those customers who requested them as part of our commitment to the Green Agenda.

We're still looking for new customers to join the service. If you are elderly, disabled and have no one who can help you to maintain your gardens, then you maybe interested in receiving the Garden Service.

The service provides seven grass cuts and one winter maintenance visit each year. The grass cuts are undertaken on a monthly basis during the grass growing season. The winter maintenance will allow for shrubs within your garden to be appropriately pruned. Please click this link for further information.

The cost of the service is £1.85 per week and is collected in addition to the weekly rent charged. Unfortunately the service is not covered by Housing Benefit and therefore the full £1.85 must be paid for by all customers receiving this service.
