JAG - Joint Action Group
Definition: Township based multi-agency meeting which looks at incidents of anti-social behaviour and plans how various agencies will respond to these.
Joined up Thinking / Joined up Government
Definition: Proposed to make local and central government services quicker and easier for the public to use. The idea is that you can access a number of services from one source, e.g. one telephone number for all council services, one website for searching all government departments or combined benefit and housing offices.
Joint Funding
Definition: Money from banks, building societies and sometimes from local authorities to help housing associations to provide special types of homes or projects, for example hostel schemes.
Joint Tenancy
Definition: Where two or more people share a property and the tenancy agreement for the property.
