Billingham Make a Difference Day

As part of National Customer Services Week, the Billingham Housing Team along with some colleagues from across the Company and the Community Payback team set about a tidy up in Quenby Road, Billingham.

The event saw a range of works carried out including:-

• Doing all external repairs to guttering and down pipes
• Painting any unpainted external woodwork.
• Painting the internal communal areas of 3 blocks of flats
• Sweeping and wet mopping communal flat corridors, washing down windows doors and cills
• Removing tonnes of unwanted items
• Cleaning the street gulley's of unwanted weeds, detritus and rubbish
• Cutting down overgrown hedges
• Weed spraying and cutting overgrown gardens
• Clearing of the entrance to the garage site
• Painting hazard warning lines onto the front entrance steps to the 3 blocks of flats
• General litter pick of the surrounds to the flats
